  • 3 spoonfuls of baking powder sifting, for the cake
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda sifting, for the cake
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of Salt for the cake
  • 2 cups of milk for the cake
  • enough of Vegetable food coloring green, blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow
  • 4 pieces of cream cheese 190g each
  • 3/4 of Cup of whipping cream
  • 2 cups of powder sugar
  • enough of Vegetable food coloring green, blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 175 °C. (347°F)
    For the cake, add the butter with the sugar, add the eggs one by one, the vanilla, add the sifted powders and the milk. Beat until you get a smooth mixture and divide it into 6 equal parts.
    Color each of the mixtures with the vegetable colorants according to the colors of the rainbow.
    Grease and flour a rectangular oven proof dish (3.8 L approximately) and pour each of the cake mixes in the center, taking care not to mix them (they will expand themselves each time you add the next color). Bake for 35 minutes or until done, remove from oven and cool.
    For the bitumen, beat the cream cheese with the whipping cream and the icing sugar until you obtain a consistent bitumen. Deal in 7 equal parts and paint with the dyes, reserving a white one to simulate the clouds. Place each mixture in a sleeve for baking with the duya of your preference and reserve in refrigeration.
    Once the cake is cold, decorate forming diagonal lines with the frosting starting with the color green, then blue, purple, pink, orange and yellow. Repeat to complete the oven proof cake pan and when it is covered completely smooth with a spatula taking care not to mix the colors. Finish with white frosting forming the clouds around. Refrigerate until serving.

    PRESENTATION

    Decorate with colored frosting and white to simulate the clouds.

    TIPS

    Depending on the size of the oven proof pan adjust the recipe so that you have enough, or the contrary, that you don't have too much leftover.
