The Berliners are buns filled with jams or sweet creams, they are a dessert of the German pastry, with this recipe you will delight everyone because they are very easy to make and they remain spectacular.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 3/4 of Cup of sugar
  • 11 grams of yeast
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 Cup of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 45 grams of Butter at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon of Orange zest
  • 2 cups of oil
  • enough of custard cream to fill
  • enough of Hazelnut cream
  • enough of refined sugar to decorate

    Preparation

    Add to the blender the flour, the sugar, the yeast, mix until it is integrated, add the egg, the milk, knead until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
    Add butter, orange zest and knead to a smooth dough, in a bowl covered with non-stick plastic, rest until doubled in size.
    On a table or floured surface spread the mass of approximately 5 mm thick and with the help of a round cutter cut circles and placed on a tray, let stand for 15 minutes.
    In a saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat and fry the Berliners, about 4 minutes on each side, place on absorbent paper and cool.
    With the help of a sleeve and pastry duya, fill the saloons with pastry cream and chocolate or the filling of your preference, decorate with refined sugar. Enjoy
