Ingredients

20 portions
  • 1 liter milk
  • 450 grams sugar
  • 225 grams butter
  • 1 cup walnut, chopped
  • 450 grams glucose

Preparation

In a pot put over low heat butter, milk, sugar and glucose. We will be moving our preparation constantly to prevent it from spilling and then we will prevent it from sticking.
Once we get the taffy is at its point (to know if we already get it, we empty a bit of the taffy on a plate and let it cool, it should not stick, but it should not be too hard), we add the nut cup and put out the fire.
We greased a refractory and emptied the taffy. Once it has cooled, cut small portions and wrap them in candy paper.

PRESENTATION

In a basket we put the taffy and put it in the center of the table. We can put some in cellophane bags and they would be an excellent Christmas gift.

TIPS

If we do not get special papers for candy, we can buy cellophane and cut it into squares.
