These soft, fluffy and delicious corn-flavored tamales with cajeta flavor accompanied with a bit of walnut will be your perfect dessert to accompany them with a delicious atolito.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups of anise water boil water with star anise
  • 4 cups of flour for tamales
  • 2 cups of shortening
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar
  • 1 Cup of nut chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 Cup of Cajeta Coronado®
  • 1 bunch of sheet for tamal soaked in warm water so that they soften

    Preparation

    Place the cornmeal for tamales in a bowl and knead with the aniseed water to form a masita.
    In the blender, beat the butter with the sugar until it dissolves well. Add the dough that you formed in the bowl.
    Add to the preparation the walnut, baking powder Cajeta Coronado® until it is smooth and consistent.
    Fill the leaves with the dough of the blender and cook for 1 hour.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with atole or hot chocolate.

    TIPS

    Es la peor receta de tamales que existe. Tardaron casi dos horas para hacerse y salieron insípidos, grasosos y jamás supieron a cajeta. Tuve que tirarlos todos. Por favor, retiren esta receta de su página, da pésima imagen.
