Delicious tejocotes in a syrup of sugar, cinnamon and cloves. A simple dessert with a delicious flavor and perfect to consume in the winter season, which is where in Mexico most of this fruit we find. It is economical and very rich.

Preparation
In a bowl with plenty of water add the lime and the tejocotes and soak for an hour. Remove the tejocotes and place in a pot with water and boil for 10 minutes. Remove and remove the skin and return to the pot. Cook for 30 minutes over medium heat.
To make the syrup in a pot, mix 8 cups of water with the sugar, cinnamon, cloves and orange zest. Let it boil until it is reduced by half.
In a blender grind 3 tejocotes with the syrup.
