Take advantage of the sweetness of the guavas that were left over at home and prepare this delicious recipe of Carlota de Guayaba, made with cookies and a cream with extra guava.

For this dessert without an oven you need to cook the guava sweet until, when a spoon is passed, it is so thick that it does not mix with the mixture.

Ingredients

10 servings
  • 750 grams of guava for the guava candy
  • 1 Cup of sugar for the guava candy
  • 1/2 Cup of Water for the guava candy
  • 1 raja of cinnamon for the guava candy
  • 3 packages of cream cheese for the carlota (190g c / U)
  • 1 Cup of condensed milk for the carlota
  • 2 spoonfuls of lemon juice for the carlota
  • enough of Maria cookie
  • 1 on of unflavored gelatin for the mirror (hydrated and cast) (7 g)
  • enough of guava cut into slices, to decorate
  • enough of green lemon sliced, to decorate
  • enough of jam or shine of apricot, to decorate

    Preparation

    Blend the guavas with sugar and cinnamon. Cuela.
    In a saucepan over low heat, cook the guava candy for 15 minutes while continuing to move, until it thickens. Remove and cool. Divide the candy into two parts.
    Beat the cream cheese with the condensed milk, 1 ¼ cups of the guava sweet and the lemon juice until you get a smooth mixture.
    On a ring of 20 cm in diameter, accommodate the cookies forming a base. Add a bit of the guava cream and cover with more cookies. Repeat the process until the hoop is filled. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
    For the mirror, 1 ½ cups of guava sweet with the hydrated gelatin. Pour the preparation into the ring and refrigerate again until firm.
    Desmolda the carlota and decorate with guavas, lemons and varnish with jam or shine. It serves.

    PRESENTATION

    Garnish with guavas and lemon slices.

    TIPS

    Cook the guava candy until, when passing a spoon, it is so thick that the mixture does not mix.
