For lovers of the rich combination of chocolate cake with creamy pudding, we created this impossible cake recipe without an oven. Prepare this classic cake and cook it on the stove, it will be perfect and without complications.

Ingredients

10 servings
  • 1 Cup of sugar for the caramel
  • 3/4 of Cup of flour for the cake
  • 1/8 of Cup of cocoa for the cake
  • 1 teaspoonful of baking soda for the cake
  • 1/4 of teaspoonful of Salt for the cake
  • 1/2 Cup of Butter melted, for the cake
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar for the cake
  • 2 pieces of egg yolk for the cake
  • 1/2 Cup of whipping cream for the cake
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla essence for the cake
  • 1 tablespoon of chocolate melted for the cake
  • 2 pieces of egg white for the cake
  • 1 can of evaporated milk for the flan
  • 1 can of condensed milk for the flan
  • 4 pieces of egg for the flan
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence for the flan
  • 3 spoonfuls of Rum for the flan
  • to taste of nut chopped, to decorate
  • to taste of Strawberry in halves to decorate
  • to taste of cookie waffle to decorate

    Preparation

    For the caramel, cook the sugar in a pot for 5 minutes until you have an amber caramel. Do not move it so that it does not crystallize. Pour over a cake mold and let cool.
    For the chocolate cake, in a bowl mix the dry ingredients.
    In a blender, whisk the butter with the sugar, add the yolks and whisk until they sponge, add the cream, the vanilla essence and the melted chocolate.
    In addition, beat the egg whites until doubling in volume.
    Add the powders to the yolk mixture in an enveloping manner and then gently mix the whites until they are fully integrated. Pour into cake mold with caramel and spread.
    For the flan, liquefy the evaporated milk with condensed milk, eggs, vanilla and rum.
    Pour the flan mixture over the cake with a soft spoon to avoid mixing, cover with aluminum foil, place in a bain-marie and cook on a stove over medium heat for 50 minutes or until cooked.
    Chill and refrigerate at least two hours. Unmold and decorate with nuts, strawberries and cookies.

    TIPS

    Take care when cooking on the stove, since the cake can burn easily, because the heat is direct.
