This sweet is very Mexican, besides it is super easy to prepare, besides being an excellent source of energy the nuts bring a lot of flavor, you can add them in salads or eat them alone. They are exquisite!

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of Water
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla
  • 4 cups of nut

    Preparation

    In a saucepan cook the sugar with water and vanilla. Cook a few minutes until the sugar dissolves completely.
    Add the nuts and cook about 30 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
    Once the caramel completely covers the nuts and all the liquid has evaporated, pour the nuts on a greased tray or silicone mat.
    Separate with the help of a fork and let dry. It serves.

    TIPS

    You will see that, in the middle of cooking, the nuts will turn white and the caramel will be hard. This is because the sugar crystallizes, it is normal, just continue cooking on low heat without stopping moving.
