Tres Leches Cake with Churros

Fluffy and soft cake soaked in three milks that will give you the perfect moisture to cover it with dulce de leche, and topped with freshly made churros stuffed. This delicious cake is going to be the sensation that you will love it.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water, for churros
  • 1 teaspoon salt, for churros
  • 1 tablespoon sugar, for churros
  • 1 cinnamon stick, for churros
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg, for churros
  • 2 tablespoons liquid vanilla, for churros
  • 3 1/2 cups flour, for churros
  • enough oil, to fry
  • 4 tablespoons cinnamon powder, to cover churros
  • 1 cup sugar, to cover churros
  • 1 cup dulce de leche (caramel), to fill churros
  • 375 grams butter, for the cake
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar, for the cake
  • 1 cup condensed milk, for the cake
  • 11 eggs, for the cake
  • 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted, for the cake
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda, for the cake
  • 2 cups condensed milk, three milks
  • 2 cups evaporated milk, three milks
  • 2 cups whole milk, three milks
  • 4 cups dulce de leche (caramel), to cover cake

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Heat a small pot over medium heat with the water until it reaches a boiling point, add the salt, sugar, cinnamon in slit, nutmeg and vanilla extract, remove the cinnamon, add the flour and mix well to form a Thick dough, remove from heat and cool.
Enter the mixture in a sleeve with a starry duya. Drop the mixture forming the churros, over hot oil. Fry for 3 minutes or until cooked.
Drain on absorbent paper and roll in sugar. With the help of a skewer stick, sauté the churros and fill with dulce de leche. Reservation.
For the cake, add the butter with the sugar, add the condensed milk and the egg one by one, add little by little flour and baking powder sifted. Add until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Divide the mixture into two molds, one larger than the other, and bake 30 minutes or until cooked. Chills and releases.
For the three milks, combine condensed milk with evaporated milk and whole milk. Mix and soak the cakes, refrigerate and re-soak. Repeat until you get a moist cake.
Place the small cake on the large one and cover with a thin layer of dulce de leche. Refrigerate
Decorate the cake completely covering with churros, place a ribbon around it.

PRESENTATION

Add the dulce de leche to the cake and cover with churros stuffed all around, wrap with a ribbon and form a bun.

TIPS

Cools perfectly the cake when you have the dulce de leche to decorate.

Hola, según las reglas de la pastelería una preparación no puede tener más cantidad de grasa que de harina. La preparé y no funcionó. Hay un error en los ingredientes?

Elabore la receta tal cual se indica pero, no subio, demasiada mantequilla flotaba en el pastel. 1 taza 1/2 de harina es lo que dice la receta. Por favor me explicas que sucedió porque a pesar de quedar como se indica desapareció fue un éxito. Gracias por su ayuda
