Enjoy this vanilla custard that only needs 6 ingredients. It is fabulous and creamy, with a subtle and warm aroma of vanilla and cinnamon, covered with a delicious crust of caramel that will fascinate you. Do not stop trying!

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 piece of cinnamon stick slices
  • 4 pieces of egg yolk
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar
  • 2 spoonfuls of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla
  • to taste of sugar To caramelize

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
    Heat the milk in a pot over medium heat with the cinnamon. Reservation.
    Beat the yolks, with the sugar, the cornstarch and the vanilla essence, until they change color slightly.
    Add little by little the hot milk to the yolks, return the preparation to the fire and cook without stopping to move until it has a creamy and thick consistency.
    Pour the preparation into cake molds and let cool.
    Place on a tray, sprinkle little sugar and bake for 10 minutes to caramelize.

    PRESENTATION

    On cake molds accompanied by an Irish coffee.

    TIPS

    Add little by little the milk to the yolks to avoid lumps.
