Ingredients

12 portions
  • 2 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetal oil
  • 2 eggs, large at room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoons red gel food color
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk, to make the buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar, distilled
  • 2 sticks butter, 90 grams
  • 12 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees (180 C).
Put muffins on the cupcakes.
Mix the cocoa, flour and salt.
With an electric mixer at medium-high speed beat the sugar and oil until they are mixed. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well so that the entire mixture is incorporated. Add the coloring and vanilla.
Reduce the speed of the blender and add the flour in three parts. After adding 1/3 of the flour, add half of the milk. Beat well and repeat until you finish with the flour. Mix the baking soda and vinegar in a small bowl (bubbles will come out) and add to the mixture. Stir well for 10 seconds.
Divide the mixture between the molds with your cupcakes. Bake for 20 minutes and let cool on a rack.
Prepare the cream cheese bitumen. Beat the two butter sticks (90 g each) with the cream cheese at room temperature until it becomes spongy. Slow down and add 1 cup of icing sugar. Then the vanilla and stir well. Add the following cups of sugar beating after adding a little. Beat everything until you have the desired consistency.
Put the bitumen in a dulla and decorate the cupcakes. Sprinkle with red sugar hearts.

TIPS

The gel dye is much more concentrated than the liquid. If you do not get the pasta type, then the same and you have to add the whole pot so that it is bright red.
