These walnut cookies are delicious and crispy. When you eat them you are surprised by the taste of jam!

Ingredients

40 portions
  • 325 grams butter, soft
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 425 grams flour
  • 40 walnuts, in halves
  • 1/4 cups apricot jam

Preparation

Add the butter, add the sugar and beat until creamy. Put the yolks, beating very well between each one. It should be spongy, put vanilla.
Add flour at low speed to incorporate. Heat the oven to 325ºF. We need 2 cookie trays. Make balls with the hands of a teaspoon of dough and put them in the tray, with 5 centimeters of separation between each one. they should be about 2.5 cm in diameter.
With the end part of a wooden spoon dipped in flour, make a slit in each ball. In this we will put the jam and over pressing a little we put the half nut, so you do not see the jam.
Bake the trays one at a time for 15 minutes. Until they look slightly golden. Put in a rack to cool and continue with the other trays.
