The mojitos are already a great drink, but with this touch of prickly pear, you will not be able to take the traditional ones again. This recipe for prickly pear mojito is a drink based on rum, peppermint, lemon juice, but it is macerated with prickly pear, to personalize it. In addition, it has a touch of serrano pepper, so this cocktail can not be missing in your next Mexican party.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1/2 Cup of peppermint
  • 1/4 of Cup of sugar
  • 1/4 of Cup of lemon juice
  • 2 green lemons cut into eighths
  • 1/2 Cup of prickly pear green, diced
  • 1/2 Cup of white rum
  • 1 Cup of mineral water
  • 1 Cup of ice
  • enough of prickly pear sliced, to serve
  • enough of peppermint (leaves)
  • enough of serrano pepper cut in half, to decorate

    Preparation

    In a glass, crush the peppermint, sugar and lemon juice with a crusher to extract the flavor.
    Then add the lemons, prickly pear and white rum, crush again and fill with mineral water. Reservation.
    In a glass with ice, serve the previous preparation, place prickly pear and herb to serve, decorate with a serrano pepper and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve in an old fashion glass or short glass, decorated with a serrano pepper.

    TIPS
