Revolutionize your classic michelada with this mix of beer, clamato and shrimp. It’s perfect quenching a craving or an afternoon with friends. It has cucumber, lime, hot sauces, and of course, shrimp and a touch of chamoy. It will be sensational, you have to try it!

Ingredients

1 portion
  • to taste liquid chamoy, to rim
  • to taste chilli powder, to rim
  • 1/2 cups cheap shrimp, to make a skewer
  • 1/2 cups cucumber, in rolls
  • 4 tablespoons lemon
  • 3 tablespoons maggi sauce
  • 3 tablespoons English sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
  • to taste ice
  • 2 cups Clamato
  • 1/2 cups cheap shrimp
  • 1/4 cups cucumber, cut into cubes
  • 1 Corona® Family Beer, 12 oz.

Preparation

Rim the glasses by covering the edge with chamoy and press inverted on a plate with chili powder. Reserve.
Insert alternating shrimp and cucumber ribbons, in 4 bamboo skewers.
Mix lime juice, Maggi salsa, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. Add Clamato and combine with cubed cucumber and shrimp.
Place ice in glasses, pour in salsa mixture and finish with beer. Decorate with skewer and gummy candies. Enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Serve in glasses decorated with the shrimp and cucumber skewer.

TIPS

First pour in your salsa mixture and clamato in your glasses, add beer last, so your michelada will be truly restaurant style.
