The mimosa is a classic cocktail, it is an elaborated drink of sparkling wine accompanied by some fruit juice. Here we present a delicious recipe, very easy to prepare. The mimosa with mandarin snow is a cocktail whose base is sparkling wine, accompanied by a tasty tangerine snow.

Ingredients

2 portions
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1/2 cups tangerine juice
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 bottle wine, sparkling
  • 1 kilo coarse salt
  • 1 bag ice

Preparation

Pour the sugar and water in a pot. Heat the preparation, stir the mixture continuously, until a syrup forms. Once the liquid is reduced by half, remove it from the heat and allow it to cool completely.
Extract the mandarin juice and strain it.
Once the syrup is cold, add the mandarin juice and mix.
Pour this syrup into a metal container. In a larger container, add coarse salt and ice (salt is used to slow down the thawing process). Place the pot with the syrup on top of the ice cubes. Turn the syrup container so that the snow cools faster.
Enter the pot with the syrup in the freezer (in 30 minutes), continue moving the preparation, so that the mixture crystallizes and hardens.
Cools sparkling wine Once it's cool, open the bottle.
In glasses, serve a tangerine snowball (make sure the snow is very cold and firm so you can manage it) and pour the sparkling wine.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a glass accompanied by mandarin sorbet.

TIPS

Every half hour, remove the snow from the freezer, stir and reinsert it into the freezer.
