For hot days, nothing is as refreshing as tamarind water. It's so easy to do that you will not buy any concentrate again.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 15 tamarind, dry
  • 5 cups Water
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • ice, to taste
  • chili powder, to taste

Preparation

Peel the tamarinds and remove the seeds.
Heat the water, once it breaks the boiling point, add the tamarinds and turn off the preparation. Remove the seeds from the tamarinds.
Add sugar
Place the water in the blender and whisk.
The preparation goes through a sieve.
Add ice and serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a glass frosted with chili pepper, add a couple of ice cubes per glass.

TIPS

If you whiten the tamarinds it is easier to remove the skin.
