Refreshing and rich horchata drink made with rice for consuming during the hot seasons.

Ingredients

10 servings
  • 2 liters of Water
  • 1 Cup of rice
  • 4 rajas of cinnamon
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar

    Preparation

    Soak the rice in boiling water and wait for it to cool.
    In a saucepan boil 2 cups of water with 4 pieces of cinnamon, let cool.
    Blend the rice with all of the ingredients and water, and the water with the cinnamon along with a piece of it.
    Use a fine mesh strainer while pouring the liquefied juice into a large jar. Incorporate the milk as you desire until achieving the desired consistency.
    Add 2 to 3 liters of water more and stir with sugar to taste. Finally add ice.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with a little ground cinnamon on top.
