Tamarind is a fruit tree, where the pulp of the fruit is used to make drinks like this delicious tamarind water, which besides being very refreshing is perfect to accompany your favorite dishes.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 3 cups tamarind, peeled
  • 3 liters Water
  • to taste sugar
  • to taste ice

Preparation

In a pot over medium heat heat 3 cups of water and place the tamarinds, cook for 10 minutes or until soft.
Clean the tamarinds, remove the bones, extract the pulp and reserve.
Mix the pulp with the rest of the water, sweeten with sugar to your liking.
Add ice and enjoy.

PRESENTATION

Serve the water with plenty of ice.

TIPS

You can liquefy the pulp to obtain a smoother water.
