Nothing better to accompany the cold mornings than this atole de rompope. To prepare it you just need to blend five ingredients and cook it while still moving, until it thickens. Enjoy this holiday season with this hot drink that is traditionally taken in Mexico.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/3 cups rice flour
  • 1 raja cinnamon

Preparation

Blend the condensed milk with the rompope, milk and rice flour. Reservation.
In a pot over low heat, cook the atole with the cinnamon stick while moving, until it thickens.
Serve in a cup and accompany with sweet bread.

TIPS

Rice flour is an excellent option to replace cornstarch in addition to being gluten free.
