A hot drink for those cold days. An easy drink to make and with ingredients that we always have at home, banana atole with spices totally different.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 plantain, mature
  • 1 raja cinnamon
  • black pepper, powdered
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 liters Water
  • ginger, powdered
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Preparation

Blend the bananas with a pinch of pepper and a liter and a half of water.
In a pot put our mixture to boil and add a pinch of powdered ginger with the cinnamon in a slit and the teaspoon of corn starch to thicken.
Boil until it is thick and add little by little the brown sugar until you reach the predetermined cup or to your liking or that of your family.

PRESENTATION

You can serve it with any dried raisins or seeds.

TIPS

You can make it more thick by liquefying more banana, the more ripe it will taste.

hola Mi tía Tere lo espesaba con masa y le ponía rodajas d plátano fritas, delicioso; sólo ella lo hace en la familia y la pimienta q usaba era d la "gorda" no d la chiqita
