Chocolate Oatmeal Atole

It is a rich atole that is very healthy and above all, delicious! Perfect for those cold days or for a very tasty breakfast. The chocolate oatmeal atole is a traditional Mexican homemade recipe. It's really easy to prepare.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 6 tablespoons oats
  • 1 chocolate, in tablet
  • 1 liter Water
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 liters skim milk
  • 1 raja cinnamon

Preparation

In a medium pot add half a liter of the water and cinnamon and bring to a boil to medium-high flame, in which the other ingredients are prepared.
In a colander put the oatmeal and rinse it a little with water
Place the oatmeal in the blender with the other half liter of water and blend until it is well crushed.
Pass the mixture through a colander to boiling water. Pour the chocolate (in pieces of preference), and move the mixture with a large spoon until the chocolate is well dissolved. Add the sugar to your liking
Lower the flame and let it boil for 15 minutes without stopping moving.

PRESENTATION

Serve hot, accompanied by a shell with cream and sugar

TIPS

When pouring the Oats, lower the flame a little and move constantly so that the oatmeal does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
