Preparation
In a small saucepan, over medium heat, mix sugar, ginger and water. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Change the mixture to a glass bowl and place in the freezer for a few minutes to cool.
Strain the ginger in a jug along with the lime juice and grapefruit. You can strain the pulp or leave it, just be careful not to have many seeds.
Stir and try, if you prefer you can add a little more sugar. Serve directly in a small glass with ice.
