Prepare this traditional drink, a delicious Marzipan Atole. This is an easy recipe that you can prepare for any day, especially in the celebrations of the Day of the Dead or Christmas. Mexican Marzipan is a sweet made from peanuts, very rich in healthy fats. For this Mexican Marzipan Atole we recommend making an infusion of cinnamon to provide a delicious touch of this spice.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cups light condensed milk
  • 5 marzipan
  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 raja cinnamon, to cook the atole and to serve

Preparation

Blend the whole milk with water, evaporated milk, condensed milk, Mexican marzipan, corn starch until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Heat a pot over medium heat, pour the previous preparation, add the cinnamon and cook until thick, serve the atole and enjoy warm.

PRESENTATION

Serve the atole in a cup and decorate with a slice of cinnamon.

TIPS

Stir the atole constantly so it does not stick and burn. Remember that corn starch is always mixed when cold so that lumps do not form.
