The punch is a typical drink for the inns and Christmas season. This recipe is made with many fruits and a touch of orange liqueur that make it sensational.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1/4 kilos prune
  • 1/2 kilos guava
  • 6 apples
  • 1/2 kilos Mexican hawthorn
  • 10 liters Water
  • 1/4 kilos tamarind, bare
  • 1/2 cups Flower of Jamaica Great Value®
  • 2 sugar cane, peeled and on sticks
  • 1 raja Great Value® Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 piloncillo
  • 1/4 cups Triple Sec orange liqueur

Preparation

Cut the plums in half, guavas, apples and tejocotes in quarters. Reservation.
Heat the water and when it boils add the fruit, except the plums, and boil for 20 minutes.
Add the tamarind, the plums, the jamaica, the sugar cane, the spices and the piloncillo. Boil covered until the fruit is cooked.
Remove from heat and add the orange liqueur, mix and serve.

TIPS

You can do it without alcohol for the little ones.
