Preparation
Wash the fruits, slice apples and guavas, part the tejocotes, (if you want peels, they are tastier).
Boil 25 cups of water with sugar and cinnamon in a pot, preferably of cured clay. Add the fruit, when cooked, remove the pot from the heat and add the red wine.
To peel the tejocotes, heat water, when it is boiling it puts the tejocotes, extinguishes the fire and as soon as the skin softens, it proceeds to peel them, this is very easy. The water left over from this simple peeling operation can be used for the punch.
