Ingredients

4 portions
  • 5 lemons
  • 1/2 cups tamarind pulp, or concentrate
  • 1.5 liters Water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ice

Preparation

Pour the water into a glass jar, preferably. Squeeze the lemons.
Dissolve the sugar in a two tablespoons of hot water. Add to the jar, mix well.
Add the tamarind concentrate, mix until dissolved completely.
Add ice cubes to taste, refrigerate until ready to serve.

PRESENTATION

Decorate the glass with lemon slices.

TIPS

You can get the tamarind in oriental specialty stores or sweetshops. Even in the supermarket you find it bottled.
