Preparation
With the help of a rolling pin, roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle.
Cut the rectangle in half and cut smaller squares in each half.
In each square, pour jam from corner to corner, taking care not to put too much or too much of it on the edges so that it does not overflow.
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees centigrade and form a roll with each rectangle.
Place the rolls on baking sheets with waxed paper underneath.
In a bowl, beat the egg yolk and with the help of a brush paint the upper part of the rolls.
Bake the puff pastry for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven.
