Prepare these delicious Mushroom Mushroom Volovans, they are a rich recipe to serve as a snack or canapé at your next event. You can also serve them as a main course. The good thing about volovanes is that you can cut them to the size you prefer and use them in several different presentations.

Ingredients

8 servings
  • 2 spoonfuls of olive oil
  • 2 spoonfuls of onion finely chopped
  • 2 spoonfuls of garlic finely chopped
  • 3 cups of mushroom filleted
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 2 spoonfuls of Maggi juice
  • 1 tablespoon of coriander finely chopped
  • enough of flour
  • 250 grams of puff pastry
  • enough of egg yolk to varnish
  • enough of coriander finely chopped, to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 200 ° C
    Heat a pan over medium heat, cook the onion and garlic with a little olive oil until they are clear. Add the mushrooms, let them reduce the liquid, add the cream cheese, season with maggi sauce, cilantro and salt if necessary. Let cool and reserve.
    On a floured surface spread the puff pastry to a thickness of 1 cm, with the help of a round cutter 5 cm in diameter, cut several circles. Half the circles, make a hole in the center with another cutter 3 cm in diameter.
    Glue a hollowed circle over a complete one with a little egg yolk and place them on a baking sheet. Varnish completely with more yolk and bake for about 10 minutes or until golden, remove and cool.
    Fill volovanes with mushrooms and garnish with chopped cilantro.

    PRESENTATION

    Decorated with cilantro, on a plate as a snack.

    TIPS

    At the moment of seasoning with the maggi sauce, be careful not to add too much otherwise you could salt the mushrooms.
