Ingredients

5 portions
  • 500 grams watermelon
  • 100 grams White chocolate
  • 1 sachet Green Tea
  • 400 milliliters Water

Preparation

We heat the water to the boil, remove from the heat and infuse the green tea bag for 1 minute. Remove the tea bag and let cool.
Cut the watermelon into thick triangles. We remove the skin and place it in a bowl. Cover the pieces of watermelon with the cold infusion and let marinate for 30 minutes.
Drain the watermelon triangles, skewer them with a skewer stick (or failing that with a small spoon) and put it in the freezer for an hour. At the last moment we melted the white chocolate in the microwave, at low temperature, or in a water bath. We remove the watermelon triangles from the freezer and partially bathe them in the white chocolate. We return the triangles of watermelon in the freezer, until the moment of serving.

PRESENTATION

We can serve the popsicles of watermelon, chocolate and green tea, sprinkling with a dash of tea or a pinch of chopped toasted almonds. Another form of presentation can be cutting the watermelon into cubes and wetting a part of the cube in the chocolate.

TIPS

We will remove the watermelon from the freezer a few minutes before serving it on the table, to avoid that they are too cold.
