The whiting is a very healthy and nutritious white fish and you can use it to make this recipe, the croquettes are very sought after by children and it is a good way to eat peas.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 750 grams fish, hake type
  • 1 slice breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 50 grams fresh pea, fat
  • 1 cup milk, (little)
  • 8 tablespoons bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 4 eggs

Preparation

Cut the onion into very small pieces and sauté very slowly in a pan with a little olive oil.
When it is ready, add the whiting, a pinch of salt and cook with the onion.
Cook the peas in a little salt water and peel them.
We drain the whiting well and mix the crumb and the milk to make a paste.
With your hands we will make some hake balls and in the center we will put a pea.
We close the balls well and batter them.
We pass the balls first for flour. After the egg well beaten and finally the bread crumbs.
Before frying them we will put them a little while in the freezer so they get a bit hard.
Fry them in olive oil over medium heat.
