Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of onions
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 cups of jalapeño sliced
  • 2 cups of chistorra chorizo sausage
  • 3 cups of cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup of chives
  • to taste of salt
  • to taste of black pepper
  • 3 cups of pepperoni
  • enough of manchego cheese in strips
  • enough of crackers To accompany

Preparation

Heat a pan over medium heat and melt the butter, add the onion and sugar, caramelize for 5 minutes; add the jalapeños and the chistorra, let cook for 5 more minutes. Reservation.
Beat the cream cheese for 5 minutes until softened.
Mix the cream cheese with the cheddar cheese, the paprika, the garlic powder, the chives and the mixture that you previously made with jalapeños, onion and chistorra. Season with salt and pepper.
On a board, place plastic film and pour the dip, cover with more plastic film and shape with your hands to form a ball. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Remove the plastic film, cover the dip with pepperoni and place the cheese strips to simulate a ball. Accompany with crackers.
