A fresh dip prepared with cucumber, yoghurt, cream cheese, lemon and dill that goes very well with vegetables or pita bread. This type of flavors are characteristic of Greek cuisine. It is a light dip that you can prepare at any time.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 cups no sugar natural yogurt
  • 300 grams cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 100 grams cream cheese, Philadelphia
  • 2 tablespoons dill, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Preparation

Cover a strainer with blanket of sky blanket and put on a bowl. Put the yogurt in the strainer, cover with plastic and refrigerate 6 hours or more to drain the liquid.
The cucumber cut it in half lengthwise and I remove the seeds. Then grate it. I put the salt and leave it in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
I transfer the dried yogurt to a bowl and mix it with the cream cheese little by little and then with the lemon, dill and garlic.
The cucumber I squeeze it with my hands as much as I can to extract all the liquid and I add it to the yogurt, I put pepper in it.
Put in the refrigerator until the moment of serving. It can be served with slices of cucumber and peppers of various colors.
