Hummus is an excellent snack with dip consistency, perfect to enjoy in meetings. Its nutritional value is very high, it contains a lot of protein. It is perfect for children, vegetarians or anyone who wants to live a gourmet experience.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 2 cups chickpea, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • lemon juice, 2 lemons
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoons fresh coriander, dry
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 milliliters tahini sauce, (sesame sauce)

Preparation

Mix in the blender jar or food processor, cooked chickpeas with water, lemon juice, cilantro, tahini sauce, ground garlic , salt and paprika. Blend as long as necessary until it starts to become a smooth and uniform mixture.
Add little by little the olive oil while still liquefying. If necessary, you can add more water.

PRESENTATION

Place it in a deep bowl and garnish with chili powder. Place pita bread in triangles or raw vegetable sticks around the plate.

TIPS

Tahini sauce is available in regular supermarkets or Lebanese specialty stores. You can add chipotle to tropicalize the recipe and give it a spicy touch.
