Christmas Eve Leftover Empanadas

Do you have overheated and do not know what to do with it? You will not have to worry now with these fried empanadas of cod, romeritos and turkey, so crispy that it will be impossible to resist. Serve them with the salsita of your preference.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 3 cups flour, for the mass of the empanadas
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, for the mass of the empanadas
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt, for the mass of the empanadas
  • 1/4 cups oil, for the mass of the empanadas
  • 1 cup Water, for the mass of the empanadas
  • 1 cup flour, to extend
  • 2 cups rosemary, to fill
  • 2 cups cod, to fill
  • 2 cups Turkey, to fill
  • enough oil, to fry

Preparation

In a bowl mix flour with sugar, salt, oil and water. Knead until obtaining a homogeneous mass.
Spread the dough on a floured surface until it reaches a thickness of 3 mm, using a cutter, cut circles.
Fill some with romeritos, others with cod and others with turkey. Close and braid with your fingers.
In a small pot heat oil over medium heat and fry the empanadas for about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve.

PRESENTATION

On an extended plate serve with sauce.

TIPS

Cook over medium heat the empanadas in this way will not be burned and cooked to perfection.

Quedan deliciosas, pero a la del pavo le falta algo, el relleno muy seco, como que le falta una salsita o algo.
