Ingredients

4 portions
  • 1 kilo escamoles
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt, to taste
  • to taste epazote, (optional)
  • to taste serrano pepper, (optional)
  • to taste corn tortilla, To accompany

Preparation

Add the salt to the escamoles.
Heat the oil and fry for about 30 minutes or until crisp.
Serve in hot corn tortillas; Accompanied with epazote and chile serrano minced.
