A traditional dish of "Hanuka" latkes also known as potato pancakes serve as the basis of any snack.

Ingredients

30 servings
  • 4 pieces of potato big
  • 2 pieces of yellow onion
  • 4 pieces of egg
  • 1/3 of Cup of matzo flour
  • 2 spoonfuls of Salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 Cup of peanut oil

    Preparation

    Peel the potatoes and in a food processor grate the potatoes.
    Then grate the onions. The juice of the onions will make the potatoes do not rust.
    Place the grated potato and onion in a towel and squeeze to remove all the excess liquid.
    Place in a bowl and mix with flour, salt and pepper. Add the egg and mix.
    With your hands make each pancake (like 2 tablespoons of mixture) and place them in a tray.
    Heat the oil in a pan and fry the pancakes. Fry approximately 3 minutes on each side. Make sure they do not brown too much on the outside and remain raw on the inside, if this is the case, lower the fire.

    PRESENTATION

    Accompany the latkes of applesauce, sour cream and salmon.

    TIPS

    If you can not find matza flour you can use normal flour.

    Hola, se me antoja mucho la receta, sólo que no se cuál es la harina de matza y si es que se consigue en México? De ante mano mil gracias!
