Cook with us these very original and delicious nachos, prepared with a base of Tostitos® Nachos Snacks, served with cochinita pibil, a typical Yucatan preparation, based on pork meat marinated with achiote, sour orange, seasoned with a touch of clove , cumin, laurel, Yucatecan oregano and cooked in banana leaf. These nachos, also served with pickled purple onions and gratin with cheese grilling, will be a delicious snack.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1/4 of Cup of achiote
  • 1/2 Cup of orange juice sour
  • 1/4 of piece of White onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of peppercorn
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of whole clove
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of cumin
  • 1/4 of Cup of White vinegar
  • 1/4 of tablespoon of Dried oregano
  • 1 sheet of laurel
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 1 liter of Water
  • 3 pieces of banana leaves
  • 1/2 kilo of Pork Meat
  • 1 piece of Tostitos® Nachos Snacks
  • 2 cups of asadero cheese grated, to gratinate
  • 1 Cup of red onion pickles with habanero

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    Blend the ingredients of the marinade until they are incorporated. Marinade the meat about 1 hour.
    In an express pot add the water, place the banana leaf with the pork and the marinade for the cochinita. Cover and cook for 35 minutes, remove from heat and strain the meat a little. Reservation.
    Place a layer of Tostitos® Nachos Snacks on top of the bowl, add a layer of cochinita pibil, a layer of grilled cheese, place another layer equal. Gratin in the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
    Place Tostitos® Nachos Snacks around the preparation, and add pickled onions to finish.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the nachos decorated with Botanas Tostitos® Nachos around, cochinita pibil and to finish a touch of pickled onions.

    TIPS

    Always use sour orange so that the cochinita does not taste sweet.
