Potato nachos with "al pastor" meat

If you love nachos, but the typical tortilla chips are boring, cook these recipe with slices of crispy baked potatoes, prepared with a delicious dressing of garlic, buffalo sauce and mayonnaise. In addition, they are served with "al pastor" meat, guacamole, cream and pico de gallo salsa. They´ll drive you crazy!

Ingredients

14 portions
  • 5 potatoes, With peel, cut into medium thick slices
  • 3 tablespoons vegetal oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper, for the potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon salt, for the potatoes
  • 1/4 cups buffalo sauce, for the potatoes
  • 1/4 cups Mayonnaise Best Foods®, for the potatoes
  • 1/4 cups bacon, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 red onions, chopped
  • 500 grams Pork Meat, al pastor
  • 1 cup asadero cheese, grated
  • to taste guacamole, to serve
  • to taste sour cream, to serve
  • to taste pico de gallo, to serve
  • to taste fresh coriander, chopped, to serve
  • to taste cheddar cheese, melted, to serve

Preparation

Preheat de oven to 400° F.
Place sliced potatoes in a medium bowl. Add vegetable oil, paprika, garlic, pepper, salt, buffalo sauce, Real Best Foods® Mayonnaise and toss until well coated.
Spread potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Heat a large pan over medium heat and cook the bacon until crisp, add the red onion and the Northgate Market® "al pastor" meat cook for another 10 minutes.
In a cast iron skillet, arrange cooked potatoes and top with pork meat, then asadero cheese and bake 10 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve immediately with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo salsa, cilantro and melted cheddar cheese. Enjoy!

PRESENTATION

Serve with guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream.

TIPS

During baking, toss potatoes to cover all with the marinade.
