Potato nachos with "al pastor" meat

If you love nachos, but the typical tortilla chips are boring, cook these recipe with slices of crispy baked potatoes, prepared with a delicious dressing of garlic, buffalo sauce and mayonnaise. In addition, they are served with "al pastor" meat, guacamole, cream and pico de gallo salsa. They´ll drive you crazy!

Ingredients

  • 5 pieces of potato With peel, cut into medium thick slices
  • 3 spoonfuls of vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of Pepper for the potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon of Salt for the potatoes
  • 1/4 of Cup of buffalo sauce for the potatoes
  • 1/4 of Cup of Mayonnaise Best Foods® for the potatoes
  • 1/4 of Cup of bacon cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 of piece of purple Onion chopped
  • 500 grams of Pork Meat al pastor
  • 1 Cup of Asadero cheese grated
  • to taste of guacamole to serve
  • to taste of sour cream to serve
  • to taste of pico de gallo to serve
  • to taste of coriander chopped, to serve
  • to taste of cheddar cheese melted, to serve

    Preparation

    Preheat de oven to 400° F.
    Place sliced potatoes in a medium bowl. Add vegetable oil, paprika, garlic, pepper, salt, buffalo sauce, Real Best Foods® Mayonnaise and toss until well coated.
    Spread potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Heat a large pan over medium heat and cook the bacon until crisp, add the red onion and the Northgate Market® "al pastor" meat cook for another 10 minutes.
    In a cast iron skillet, arrange cooked potatoes and top with pork meat, then asadero cheese and bake 10 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Serve immediately with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo salsa, cilantro and melted cheddar cheese. Enjoy!

    PRESENTATION

    Serve with guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cream.

    TIPS

    During baking, toss potatoes to cover all with the marinade.
