Ingredients

10 portions
  • 500 grams puff pastry
  • 250 grams Brie cheese, or camambert
  • 1/2 cups apricot jam
  • 1/4 cups almond
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • cookie cutters, circular

Preparation

Start by placing half of the puff pastry on a clean surface with a little flour. With a rolling pin, spread the dough until it is only 1/2 cm thick.
With a cookie cutter cut circles in the dough and place them in a baking tray previously greased with vegetable spray.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
In a deep bowl beat the egg with the water and with a pastry brush or a teaspoon cover the puff circles with the mixture.
To make the edges of the puff pastry, cut a circle the same size as the base and then with a smaller cookie cutter remove the center, leaving a puff pastry donut.
Place the donut on the base and press well. This shape will make the edges (the donut) grow more and so the shape of the photograph remains.
With a fork, lightly chop the base of each puff pastry so that it breathes when cooked.
Repeat with the whole puff pastry.
Fill each puff pastry with 1/2 tablespoon of jam, a slice of cheese and the sliced ​​almonds. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until puff pastry is golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven.

PRESENTATION

Serve this entry on a wooden board decorated with almonds.
