These rich sandwiches are melon wrapped in serrano ham with a touch of mint. Ideal for a cocktail or dinner for many people.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 1 cantaloupe, (without peel or seeds and cut into slices)
  • 250 grams Serrano ham
  • leaves peppermint, fresh washed
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • black pepper

Preparation

Boil 2 cups of water with half of the mint leaves in a pot. Boil for 5 minutes and remove from heat, cool.
Take the mint tea and mix with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Cut the slices of melon into large cubes (as in the photo) and roll a strip of ham around each cube.

PRESENTATION

Place the cubes with serrano ham in a serving dish and place a fresh mint leaf on each one. With a spoon place the vinaigrette on the sandwiches and serve with wooden chopsticks.
