6 portions
  • 1/2 kilos chicken, shredded
  • 6 Mexican french bread rolls
  • 50 grams Chile de árbol pepper
  • 1 leave bay (laurel)
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • 1 pinch marjoram
  • 1/2 kilos tomtato
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 1 pinch clove
  • 1 black pepper
  • salt, to taste

Cook the chicken with the laurel, pepper, a clove of garlic and a piece of onion adding salt to your liking, wait until it is completely smooth and drain the water.
Boil the tomato and grind it with 2 cups of warm water along with a piece of garlic, onion and a pinch of salt, cumin and cloves. Season the sauce in a pan with a tablespoon of oil and add the oregano.
Cook apart the chiles with garlic and onion. Grind to prepare the hot sauce, which you can add to the tomato sauce according to your taste.
Open the rolls in half, remove the crumbs, add the refried beans on both sides, fill them with the chicken and dip them in the red sauce, add the spicy sauce if you wish and enjoy them.

To accompany your drowned cakes, cover them with delicious breaded onions, with the juice of 2 lemons, salt to taste. Bon Appetite!

The roll for the drowned cakes is special, a little harder than normal, so that when drowning in the sauce does not break down, I recommend that if you use a conventional roll, you cool it slightly.
