This recipe for turkey panini with pesto mayonnaise is very good to use turkey reheating. You can add dehydrated tomatoes and it is very good.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 teaspoons pesto
  • 8 slices grain bread
  • 16 slices provolone cheese, or Swiss cheese
  • 8 slices tomtato
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • turkey leftover

Preparation

Mix the mayonnaise and the weight, and spread 4 slices of bread with this mayonnaise, top with a generous amount of turkey, a couple of thick slices of provolone cheese and 2 slices of tomato. Cover with the other slices of bread.
Brush the tops of the bread with butter and put on a grill or sandwich maker to brown the bread and melt the cheese (about 3 minutes on each side or 6 minutes in total).

TIPS

You can also prepare more mayonnaise with pesto and cook the leftover turkey with this mayonnaise in a pan so it has more flavor.
