There is nothing more delicious than a guacamole, but if you were wondering if there was a way to make it even tastier, this recipe for smoking is the answer. To prepare it you will need all the traditional ingredients, in addition to sea salt and the special touch that olive oil gives it, and to smoke it, apple wood, which will leave it with a flavor that you will enjoy very much.

Ingredients

  • 3 avocados, hass
  • 3 chile de árbol peppers, fresh sliced
  • 2 green lemon
  • 1 red onion, cut into julienne
  • 1 roma tomato , cut into small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 handfuls Apple Weber® Wood Chips
  • to taste sea ​​salt
  • to taste Cotija cheese
  • to taste fresh coriander

Preparation

Prepare your Weber® grill on indirect low heat (250 ° - 350 ° F or 121 ° - 175 ° C). Moisten Manber Weber® Wood Chips in water for 30 minutes before roasting.
In a bowl, place the onion, chili peppers and lemon juice. Let stand for 10 minutes and add the tomato. Reservation.
Cut the avocados in half and discard the bone. Varnish them with oil. Reservation.
Add two handfuls of chips directly to the embers, or, using your Original Weber Smoked Box and close the lid of your grill. Once the chips begin to emit white smoke, transfer the avocados to your grill with the flat side down on indirect heat for 5 minutes.
Remove the avocados from the grill and remove the peel. Place the avocados in the bowl with the onion and tomato mixture. Mix until incorporated correctly. Serve with sea salt, cheese and cilantro to taste.
