Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
Cut the cuaresmeños chiles in half. With a spoon, remove the seeds.
Fill the chiles with the grated cheese.
Cut strips of puff pastry 0.5 cm by 20 cm long. Wrap the chiles with these strips, to simulate that the puff pastry are bandages.
Beat the egg with a spoonful of water.
Place the jalapeños on a tray. Varnish the jalapeños with the beaten egg.
Bake for 20 minutes or until puff pastry is golden brown.
Once you removed them from the oven, place 2 slices of olives in each chili as eyes. Inside the hole of the olive pour a little dot of hot sauce.
