We present a spectacular recipe, the delicious sandwich with gratin cheese, mushrooms and caramelized onions. It is a simple recipe with a very rich flavor. You can serve it as a snack or as a breakfast or dinner.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 12 slices bread, Oroweat® Integral
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cups mushroom
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dry thyme
  • 1/4 cups white vinegar
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, grated

Preparation

Cut the mushrooms in quarters.
Heat a pan and add butter and olive oil.
Fry the onion and let it cook for 15 minutes until it is caramelized, reserve.
In another pan sauté the garlic and add the mushrooms and thyme.
Add the white wine and cook for about 10 minutes until the liquid in the pan evaporates.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the finely chopped parsley and mix until everything is well incorporated. Integrates the cheeses to the pan with the mushrooms.
Spread some butter on the Oroweat® Integral Bread.
Place a little of the filling and the caramelized onions in each pan close the sandwich.
Add more butter to the outside of the Pan Oroweat® Integral and bake the sandwiches at 180 ° C for 3 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread is browned.
Remove from the oven, let cool for 3 minutes and serve.

PRESENTATION

Accompany with a glass of your favorite wine.

TIPS

You can replace Gruyere cheese with Fontina cheese to give it a more intense flavor.
