For those days of snacks, prepare at home this recipe for chicken chalupitas, accompanied by a green tomato sauce, red tomato, onion, with serrano pepper and dried chiles. These creamy chicken chalupitas with Don Danny Herdez® Sauce will be that dish to spoil your whole family on the weekend. Do not forget to complement them with lettuce and fresh cheese, and if you feel that the dough is dry, just add a little more water.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 400 grams corn masa
  • enough Water
  • 1 tablespoon lard
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cream
  • 4 tablespoons onion
  • 1/2 cups don danny Herdez® sauce
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • enough lettuce
  • enough fresh cheese, to decorate

Preparation

In a bowl mix the corn dough, water, butter and salt, and knead until fully integrated.
Form balls with your hands and with the help of a press, form tortillas.
In a comal, roast the chalupas on both sides.
In a bowl, mix the chicken, cream, onion, Don Danny Herdez® Sauce, salt and pepper.
Serve the chalupa with the chicken, lettuce and fresh cheese. Enjoy
