Ingredients

4 portions
  • 5 cans tuna
  • olives, to taste, with or without bone
  • 2 tomatoes, medium
  • 1/2 onions
  • aromatic herbs, laurel and thyme
  • olive oils

Preparation

Chop tomato and onion in squares. Set aside.
If the olives do not have bone, they can be split into 2, not more, to avoid them from falling apart during cooking.
Open the tuna cans and remove as much liquid as possible. Reserve them.
Light the stove over medium heat and in a pan add a little olive oil.
Put the chopped onion in the pan and move to avoid burning. Add the chopped tomato and move.
When the onion looks transparent add the tuna, olives and herbs to the pan. Move constantly.
When all the liquid has evaporated put out the fire and serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve in a wide dish and on the edge embed triangles of toasted tortilla or tortilla chips.

TIPS

Do not add salt to the preparation, the olives and tuna salt the dish in a perfect way.
