These delicious hot dog muffins; They are salty and are an original way to eat the typical American sausages with bread.

Ingredients

5 portions
  • 55 grams butter
  • 40 grams sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 110 milliliters milk
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoons yeast powder
  • 80 grams cornmeal
  • 70 grams wheat flour, normal
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 package Turkey sausage

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Mix the milk with the vinegar and wait a few minutes for the whey to form.
Melt the butter 30 seconds in the microwave. In a bowl mix butter and sugar. Add the egg and buttermilk until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
In another bowl mix the flour, salt, yeast, mix and sift. Add the flour mixture to the previous preparation twice, incorporating very well all the ingredients with gentle movements.
Paint with oil or butter a tray for muffins and fill them with dough up to 2/3 of their capacity, finally place a sausage in the center. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, remove from the molds and serve accompanied by ketchup or your favorite sauce.
Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown.
