Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 kilo of beets
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can of canned corn
  • 1 can of canned tuna
  • pitted black olives the amount you want
  • 2 gherkins
  • 4 spoonfuls of Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard

    Preparation

    Cook the beets and the eggs in boiling water.
    Pass the eggs through cold water, drain and chop finely.
    Chop pickles and olives.
    Drain the corn and stir with the eggs, pickles and chopped olives.
    Add the mayonnaise and mustard and stir very well.
    When the beet has been cooked cut into medium cubes and remove the inside with the help of a punch.
    Fill with the tuna salad.

    PRESENTATION

    Garnish with a bit of chopped scallion. If you find it very difficult to hollow the cubes of beets, instead of making cubes you can cut the beet into slices and put the salad on top.

    TIPS

    The pieces of beets that are left over when making the cubes and hollowing them can also be eaten as a snack by mixing them with lemon juice and salt. Sometimes black olives are more expensive, so you can replace them with regular olives.
