Stuffed Tomatoes of Cottage Cheese with Herbs

It is a light, healthy and very rich recipe, tomatoes stuffed with cottage cheese and herbs are the option for when you are on a diet. You can change the cottage cheese for panela cheese.


4 portions
  • 1 kilo curd cheese
  • 1/4 cups fresh coriander
  • 1/4 cups peppermint, or finely chopped mint
  • 1/4 cups rosemary
  • 1/2 cups turkey ham, in cubes
  • 1/4 cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper, milled
  • 4 tomatoes, or ball tomato


Finely chop the herbs.
Put the chopped herbs in a bowl.
Add the turkey ham to the mix of herbs. Add a little olive oil.
Add the cottage cheese to the mixture, combine all the ingredients after adding salt and pepper to taste.
The tomatoes have to slice the navel so that it serves as a lid. With a spoon remove the seeds and leave mouth to low so that the tomato is free of liquid.
Fill the gap with our preparation and place the lid on top.


Place the tomato on a plate and fill it with the idea that the preparation is visible above the edge. Place the tomato lid. Decorate around with extra virgin olive drops and balsamic oil.


For a stronger flavor, you can place smoked turkey ham or small pieces of fried bacon (without fat)
